The team members from Formula ETS powered by Videotron took off at 6:15 am from the Pierre Elliot Trudeau airport heading for Los Angeles, with a connection in Toronto. Everything went smoothly throughout the trip.
Once the rental cars were recovered, everyone met up at the hotel, in Fontana.
That’s where the team linked up with the truck carrying the car all the way from Montreal. After a thorough inspection and the required maintenance, the car was deemed ready for its first Formula SAE event.
The day ended with a team meeting to prepare the first day of the competition.
The team registration and the car homologation (Tech inspection, tilt test, official weight-in, noise test and brake test) are set as goals for FSAE West Day one.
