Formula ETS powered by Videotron is switching to its alternative sporting program this summer. The sporting program includes provincial and national autocross championships and culminates with the Toronto Shootout, on October 1st.
During the month of July, the team participated in two rounds of the provincial autocross championship. On July 3, ICAR Complex, theF2011 placed second in its class under corrected time, signing the fastest raw time of the day. On July 24th, at the Autodrome Saint-Eustache, the F2011 placed third in its class under corrected time, signing the fastest time of the day.
Unfortunately, switching to the alternative program announces the withdrawal of the team from the entry list of Formula Student Germany. Planning for the month of August includes the preparation of recruiting, knowledge transfer between graduating team members and upcoming team leaders and improving the management structure to maintain the level of performance seen in California. The objective of this strategy is for the ETS team to be a podium contender in every event they enter for years to come.
